Generations of Excellence in Catholic Education
"I am an eighth grader at Saint Agnes School and have been attending since kindergarten. Every year holds the most amazing memories with my teachers and friends, and it has taught me so many important lessons, such as how to be a good person and lead a life with love. Saint Agnes has prepared me for high school in more ways than one. They have not only inspired me to follow my aspirations for life, but how to do it with efficiency and faith. Since coming here, my faith for God has only strengthened. My spiritual life has increased and I have put all my trust in Christ that he will pull me through any situation. I have made the best friends I could ever ask for, the best memories, and been taught by the best teachers. Despite the negative circumstances, our school has done its absolute best to continue teaching their students and instilling hope for the future. No matter what, Saint Agnes is a school where all are welcomed and are presented with a second home. Saint Agnes will forever be my second home." - M. Wuest, Grade 8
"This year at St. Agnes has shown how easily the school and Church can support each other. Students are greatly influenced by kind teachers and staff members and encouraged to put their best foot forward, while receiving an exceptional education. There are many activities, clubs, and sports offered. In past years, I have been on the soccer team and this year I joined Yearbook and Student Council. My favorite part about St. Agnes are the fundraisers and school events that are held to entertain and build up the community." - S.Brandt, Grade 8
"Saint Agnes isn't the easiest to describe in just a few words. When students think of school they probably envision a scary teacher, who barks orders and doesn't care about your education. However, Saint Agnes is about the exact opposite of that. Students here come and go, but they go to high school prepared, not just academically, but socially and mentally. Of all people, I know this, both of my older brothers are alumni, who wouldn't have the life they have now without Saint Agnes. I transferred here in 3rd grade from a local public school, and I must tell you it was a complete change of scenery. School never used to mean anything to me until I entered this other universe. I became a straight-A student who loves to learn, and I have amazing teachers by my side who, in the best interest of me, want me to succeed. Flexible seating, that can abide to your needs, and provide the best learning space for you and me. Friends are easily made and are one of the many great things I love about Saint Agnes. Lastly, I discovered my talent in the place that has been there for me most of my life. My talent became basketball, and CYO sports has enabled me to accomplish my dream of playing higher one day. Not only this but musically inclined students, like me as well, can learn in an environment that showcases music and the arts. In conclusion, the thing, ultimately, that I love about Saint Agnes is the environment." - S. Dean, Grade 7
"When I came to Saint Agnes in 5th grade I was nervous. They welcomed me with open arms and made me feel like I was apart of their loving community. In some grades we have morning meeting, which gives us a chance to explain where we are struggling, what we enjoy, etc. This gives each student an opportunity to share their feelings in a comfortable environment. Saint Agnes has many programs for their students. We have lacrosse, basketball, football, field hockey, and soccer. We also have "Scoop" if you are interested in writing. I play field hockey, lacrosse, and I used to do basketball. They are a great way to have fun with your friends while still playing the sport you love. They also give you the opportunity to meet people from other schools and try out new sports that you may have never known you would be good at. I have also been a part of "Scoop" and think it's a great way to get your creative juices flowing. Finally, Saint Agnes has created a learning environment that will help students strive fo success. Some students don't work well with the average desk and chair which is why we have upgraded to flexible seating which makes every kid comfortable when learning. The teachers also make this happen because they work day and night to make sure their students are understanding the material. I know that I will look back on my middle school years and know that Saint Agnes was a great place to allow me to practice my faith, receive a fantastic education, meet great people, and create memories that I will cherish forever." - A. Parsons, Grade 7
"As a kindergartner coming into St.Agnes I automatically felt at home which hasn’t changed. One thing St.Agnes has offered for me was another family. St.Agnes was not only a school family but made me feel more welcomed into my faith family. This made me grow in my faith and feel when God will always be there for me. Another thing is the teachers and staff are always there if you need help or have a problem. As I have grown up here I have watched the kids older then I create an example for me which I hope I am doing for the younger students." - K. O'Neill, Grade 7
"I have been at Saint Agnes since Kindergarten and I have made the best memories ever. Saint Agnes is where I grew in my faith, made friends, and learned. I couldn't have been in the place where I am today without my teachers. They have been there for me for 8 years and never gave up. Even if they were having a bad day, they put a smile on their face to ensure that we have a great day. If we don't understand they will do anything to help us excel and achieve greatness. A Saint Agnes we have many activities. My favorite is sports I love sports. My favorite is lacrosse. I have been playing sports my entire life. The thing I love about them is that it's my happy place if I need a brake from doing something. Saint Agnes has basketball, lacrosse, field hockey, soccer, baseball, track and field, and football. Saint Agnes sports play other catholic schools and that's how I meet new friends from other schools because I play them in sports and we also have school dances. Not only have I grown in sports but I've grown in faith. My relationship with God has gotten stronger. I was taught how to read the Bible, pray, and go to Mass. I definitely have grown in my faith. Saint Agnes has created a new learning environment called Flexible Seating, it is fun, different, and comfortable seating areas that help you to concentrate and learn better. This has helped many and brought their education to the next level. I also would have never met my best friends if I didn't go to Saint Agnes. This school is where my classmates and I made all our memories together. When I'm in high school I'm going to look back at middle school and say those were the best days of my life because of all my friends always being there for each other. Our school has changed many times over the years but this year was definitely the best. We got a new Principal who took Student Council seriously and to the next level. Sister Michele has done so much for our school. Saint Agnes makes me feel safe and loved because the community welcomes you in greatly and does everything they can to fill your needs. I am so glad that I get to go to Saint Agnes because there is no other school that would have provided the education like they did." E. Toto - Grade 7
"I was beyond nervous when I first came to Saint Agnes in fifth grade, because I had only known one other school since PreK3. I was pleasantly surprised about how well the transition went for me. People were very welcoming, and I was able to make great friends in a short amount of time. I fell in love with how Saint Agnes had so many programs for their students - particularly the sports. I have played basketball and soccer at Saint Agnes nearly every year. I found that playing on these teams helped me build character, meet people from other schools, and grow closer to the friends I had in school. Saint Agnes also offers many clubs and after school programs that do not involve sports. For example, we have a Reading Olympics team, a newspaper club, and more. n addition, the teachers at Saint Agnes are never afraid to go the extra mile. They often go out of their way to make interactive lessons and sometimes even use their lunch break to help us understand the topics discussed in class or just to talk. My experience at Saint Agnes has been amazing!" - A. Greenjack, Grade 7
“Saint Agnes is like one big family. From my very first day at the school, I instantly felt welcome. Everyone at Saint Agnes looks out for one another making a happy calm learning environment. Our school is a great place to be where every one feels loved and welcome.” -N. Parsons, Grade 6
"When I came to Saint Agnes School I was young and new to the area. All the teachers I met that year helped me understand the school and it's high expectations. Once I settled in I saw the real beauty of the school and it's pride. It is a great feeling that I can graduate from Saint Agnes and know that the teachers pushed me to overachieve and prepared me for high school. I have also participated in many athletic programs at Saint Agnes. CYO sports have further prepared me for life and helped me become more well rounded. I love Saint Agnes and I will never forget the people I met and the teachers that have helped me along the way." -G. Toto, Grade 6
"Everyone at St. Agnes is respectful! We also have fun assemblies, including my favorite volleyball game assembly. Lastly, I enjoy how everyone is positive in the building." - F. Welte, Grade 5
"Our family has been a part of the Saint Agnes Parish and Saint Agnes School for over 50 years. Our children are the third generation to go through Saint Agnes and we cannot speak highly enough about our experience thus far with the award winning Blue Ribbon School. Our children are taught not only academics but also the importance of religion, leadership, responsibility, values and service within the community. We have been blown away by the wonderful teachers, students and welcoming staff. We would highly recommend Saint Agnes to other families. It has been one of the best choices we've made for our children's future." - The Giunta Family
“From the moment our children walked through the doors of St. Agnes School, they immediately felt the joy that was alive in the halls. They felt the sense of community as everyone was so welcoming to them and to our family. It was comforting as parents of a 5th grader, a 3rd grader, and a Kindergartner for their transition into a new school to be such a smooth one. I now know that the success of that transition has a lot to do with feeling a sense of belonging. People like to feel a part of something. You feel a part of something bigger at St. Agnes. The history of St. Agnes, its faith, its traditions are felt within the bones of its beautifully aged building, but the truth is, the history of St. Agnes, its faith, and its traditions are carried on though the community of its people. The students, the teachers, the administration, and the families are united. It’s just something you feel." - The Parsons Family
"Passionate teachers and administration, a forward thinking curriculum, core Catholic values, and a small, family-like atmosphere! These are just a few of the things we love about St. Agnes. As a former alumni of this school, We love seeing our children enjoy everything this school has to offer, from PreK - 8, and we know they’ll be well prepared for the next stage of their lives!" - The Corbett Family
“St. Agnes is a place where the 8th graders know the names of the kindergartners and vice versa. When I visit the school I am always impressed with the friendly and polite greetings from students and the smiles on faces of the faculty. We are truly blessed to be part of the St. Agnes family.” - The Croce Family
“Walking through the font doors of Saint Agnes feels like coming home. Ultimately, the warmth and family atmosphere is what brought us to Saint Agnes. Since then, we have continually been impressed by the level of academics as well as the abundance of extracurricular activities, and are happy for our children to be growing up as a part of the Saint Agnes family.” - Brigid and Brian Parsons
"St. Agnes has been an enriching, fulfilling, diverse and spiritually supportive community for our two children. We choose St. Agnes because of the small class sizes and their focus on the investment in the whole child. We feel their intellectual and emotional growth have been supported by top-notch teachers and staff that care deeply and couldn’t be happier with the compassionate and nurturing environment that the school fosters. Along with the school community, the parent involvement has exceeded our expectations time and time again. SAS is a special place and we’re so excited to continue to see our children thrive here in the years to come." - The Birkins Family
"For over twenty years St Agnes has not only been our parish but our home. To be part of the vibrant St Agnes community has been and continues to be a great privilege. It is such a blessing to have had the opportunity to raise three children amongst so many great friends that share our Catholic values. The education our children received stretched way beyond the classroom. In an ever changing fast paced world a child’s foundation matters. St Agnes is a place were parents will find partners in building that solid foundation." - Cari and Bill Wolfe
"We chose St Agnes School for our children because of its award-winning academics and what we perceived to be a close-knit community. Our experience at St. Agnes has surpassed all of our expectations: it is a true community built of educators and administrators who are dedicated to their students and are constantly working to improve their educational experiences and opportunities, welcoming and supportive families, and the larger church community. We couldn’t be happier, our children are thriving, and we can’t wait for our youngest to join them at St. Agnes in the fall!" - The Schellenger Family
"St Agnes provides the type of faith based educational environment that not only teaches our children but assists us in raising our children to be Christ like. It is a second home." - The Nastase Family
