Generations of Excellence in Catholic Education
Mrs. Flynn is excited to be spending her 6th year at St. Agnes with the 2nd grade! Previously, she has worked with middle school ELA and learning support. Mrs. Flynn did her student teaching in college with 2nd grade and cannot wait to return to such a magnificent grade. 2nd grade is a pivotal point in elementary school especially with the excitement of receiving the sacraments.
Mrs. Flynn’s goal is to have a class full of readers! She is trained in Fundations and Wilson Reading Program. She is looking forward to Flashlight Fridays, flexible seating and strengthening our faith as a class. She believes that every student learns in a unique way and lessons will be interactive and ever changing with the needs of her class.
Mrs. Flynn lives in West Chester with her husband and her four children; Timothy, Erin, Connor and Sean. The Flynn family also has three dogs Sadie, Piper and Bear. Her love for animals will be incorporated throughout the year by inviting PAWS for People back to St. Agnes and in the spring watching caterpillars hatch into butterflies! Mrs. Flynn can’t wait to watch the students grow and transform and eventually fly away to 3rd grade.
