Hello St. Agnes Families. My name is Mrs. Mikel-Ann Caffrey, and I will be teaching second grade (2B) here at St. Agnes School this year. Who is this person, you ask???

        I have just relocated here to West Chester, PA, with my husband for his job. I lived and taught in CT all my life. I taught for 18 years in two different Catholic Schools. First grade for 9 years, then the school closed, an interventionist for 5 years at an elementary magnet school where I was trained in many reading and math interventions to teach the students better, and then the last almost 10 years teaching second grade. I coached soccer, basketball and organized Field Day at my last school. 

      I am excited to be teaching second grade again and preparing the students for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist, my absolute best thing about teaching second graders. I am an energetic person who loves sports, exercising, music, hands-on science experiments, the outdoors, and the beach. I have 4 grown-ups (well, almost) children. Two daughters: my oldest lives in CT, my youngest is in her last year of college and plays soccer in MD. My oldest two sons live and teach PE in SC and coach girls volleyball and wrestling; my youngest will be a freshman in college in MA and playing baseball.
