"iHola!" Mrs. Marinella Baas is our 5-8th grade Spanish teacher.  Mrs. Baas knows she has met many of you, however this year she has the privilege of being your sons' and daughters' new Spanish teacher.  She is a wife and mother of three: Jacob, Isabel, and Sophia.  She is  originally from Cartagena, Colombia, a lively town on the Caribbean.  Mrs. Baas is a lawyer with a Master’s Degree in international law.  Her experience working in Colombia, Panama and the United States has forged her ability to adapt, embrace change and deal with unique cultural differences and characteristics.  These experiences have helped her to develop a high level of commitment, responsibility and respect for others.  She is a very friendly person. She loves to listen to music and dance. She enjoys cooking with her family and friends and is a  woman of faith.  Her favorite verse: “So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these I love.”

Mrs. Baas is very excited to be teaching at Saint Agnes; she knows it is going to be a new adventure for all of us, let’s do it! Please pray for me and for all the students for a great year. God bless you and your family!
