Mrs. Crystal Lane is our Math Specialist at Saint Agnes.  She has been teaching for the CCIU for six years and she is very excited to be working with such a talented team of teachers and respectfully sweet students.  Mrs. Lane holds a Master’s Degree in Special Education and her teaching and educational background is in both science and math.  Her world encompasses a balance between her passion for math and science, her career with the two, and her journey to bring others to a better understanding of each as they entwine in our daily lives.

Mrs. Lane says, “Our Math Support Program recognizes the need for each child to be successful in learning the skills of mathematics".  She works side by side with the teachers of St. Agnes in order to provide alternate approaches toward the mastery of math skills. She utilizes extra resources in order to motivate and provide reinforcement, remediation, and to build confidence and encourage a positive outlook on math.  Activities are highly engaging, differentiated and on target with standards and grade level objectives in order to strengthen the proficiencies of our students, for classroom performance as well as practical applications to everyday life.
