Generations of Excellence in Catholic Education
Mrs. Tina Hodlofski has 28 years experience in Catholic Education, and has taught at the primary, intermediate, and junior high levels.
She is a graduate of Cabrini College where she obtained a BS in Education. She began her teaching career in 1992 at Nativity BVM in Media, PA where she ironically focused on language arts and writing, and her post graduate education focused on children’s literature.
When Mrs. Hodlofski stepped away from teaching to raise her children, her course work refocused on elementary and middle school mathematics. Her studies included mathematics coaching and leadership. While spending time at home with her children, Mrs. Hodlofski began privately tutoring students in math and standardized testing, including high school placement exams.
When she re-entered the classroom in 2004, Mrs. Hodlofski went back to Nativity BVM and started the Honors Math Program. She remained at Nativity until its doors closed due to the Archdiocese restructuring program.
When her role at Nativity ended, she jumped at the opportunity to return to St. Agnes where she is a proud alumnus and now educator.
Mrs. Hodlofski maturated a Summer Enrichment Program for ELA and Math twenty-six years ago and it is still going strong today. She is the current Honors Math Teacher at St. Agnes, and one of the Math Curriculum Coordinators for our school. She is also a member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics.
Mrs. Hodlofski lives in West Chester with her husband, Matt and their three children. Her daughter, Ashley, is a 2016 graduate of Bishop Shanahan High School. Her son, Jake is a 2018 graduate of Malvern Prep, and her son, Luke is a 7th grader at their parish school, Saints Peter and Paul.
