Students may purchase milk, water, ice cream, and snacks ranging from $.50 to $1.00 during their lunch period.

Students are required to eat in the school cafeteria and are expected to be respectful, courteous, and attentive to the directives of the parent and/or teacher supervising the lunch period. Rules will be explained at the beginning of the school year to be followed for the safety of all children.

Each classroom will have 20 to 30 minutes of recess daily. Restrictions will be placed on sports balls, etc. in order to keep everyone healthy and safe. Recess takes place outside whenever possible, usually on the black top behind the school. Sports balls are available for play and intramural sports. During inclement weather days, recess takes place in the  Thomas Patrick Hall Gym or the “Old Gym” if available. The grades take turns having recess in the gym; otherwise the students return to their classrooms for free time with their classmates. Games are available in the classroom for this time.
