What are your school hours? School begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m. Our half-day program for students who attend our Pre- Kindergarten 3 program runs from 8:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
What are your Pre-Kindergarten options? We offer both a 5 full-day or a 5 half-day option for our Pre-Kindergarten 3 year olds. Pre-Kindergarten 3 year old children enrolled in our full day program are welcome to attend our before and after school CARES program.
Do you offer half-day or full-day programs for PreK and Kindergarten? Our Pre-Kindergarten 4 year olds and Kindergarten students attend 5 full days of school (8:00 am to 3:00 pm).
Does Saint Agnes provide before or after school care? Yes, our CARES program (Children Are Receiving Extended Care) is available each day from 7 am – 7:45 am and from 3 pm – 6:00 pm.
Do your students wear uniforms? Yes, the students in Pre-Kindergarten 3 through Grade 8 are required to wear uniforms. The uniform for our Pre-Kindergarten 3 and 4 year olds is the school gym uniform. Uniforms and school shoes can be purchased at Flynn and O’Hara. Flynn and O’Hara is located at the Festival Shopping Center,404 W Lincoln Hwy, Exton, PA 19341 or you may order online at https://www.flynnohara.com/. Saint Agnes School has a Uniform Closet in which parents can purchase gently used uniforms. Please contact the school office at 610-696-1260 to arrange a time to visit the Uniform Closet.
Is Transportation Provided? Yes, busing is provided for all students in grades K-8. Please contact your school district’s transportation department to make arrangements for your child to be transported to and from Saint Agnes School. Full day pre-school & pre-kindergarten students bring their lunch each day.
Students in grades K-8 may carry their lunch to school or purchase lunch on a pre-order basis through the Yay Lunch Program. Lunch orders must be pre-ordered. Orders may be placed online and paid directly to Yay Lunch. Please check the monthly calendar for any changes from this due date because of holidays, etc. .
My child has an allergy? Is the school nut free? No, Saint Agnes School is not nut free. If your child has an allergy or any medical condition, you should make an appointment to meet with the school nurse and the classroom teacher to explain your child’s needs. In the cafeteria, there is a peanut-free table provided so your child can eat lunch safely. If other accommodations need to be made, they should be discussed with the Principal, classroom teacher and school nurse. At times, we have designated a classroom to be nut-free for snacks.
What is your curriculum? Our curriculum is set forth by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Archdiocesan Guidelines. In addition to the Archdiocesan core curriculum, classes are offered in Spanish, Technology, Library, Physical Education, Music and Art. We offer accelerated programs in Math beginning in 5th Grade and English Language Arts beginning in 6th Grade.
Do you offer any type of learning support? Yes, Saint Agnes recognizes that not all children learn the same and as a result, we have a full time Learning Support Teachers, one who works with students in Grades 1-5. Students in Learning Support must have an updated IEP from their Public School District and/or a 504 Plan.
Do you offer Extra Curricular Activities? Yes, Saint Agnes School offers a wide variety of after school clubs and activities as well as music lessons and band. Our parish CYO program offers a variety of sports programs.
Are your teachers qualified? Yes, all of our head teachers are certified by the state of Pennsylvania. Over 50% of our teachers have earned their Masters Degree and/or Wilson Training.
How do parents get involved? Parents can be involved in the school in many ways. We invite parents to visit school to assist in the classroom, the cafeteria, or in school wide activities. Each classroom has a homeroom parent to assist the teacher in preparing parties and special activities. Parents can volunteer in the art room, library, the technology room, Home & School, and with fundraising and other social and volunteer events. The Home & School Association will provide a Volunteer Survey for families to complete each year. Parents indicate where they can help and the coordinator will contact you as the event comes up. *All volunteers are required to have a complete set of clearances on file. Do you have fundraising at the school? Parents pay a $110 Home and School fundraising fee.
What is SCRIP? To help defray the cost of tuition and the Home & School Fee, Saint Agnes School runs a SCRIP program. The SCRIP program offers the sale of gift cards to local stores. The cards are used dollar for dollar like money. In addition to the face value of the card, you also share the donated part from the company (from 1.5% for Wawa to 13% for Bath & Body Works). 50% of the donated portion is allocated to the purchaser and is applied to your tuition twice a year and 50% is donated to the Home & School Association.
There are two ways to purchase SCRIP:Send your SCRIP orders on Monday through school and your gift cards will be sent home the same day. SCRIP is available at the rectory during the summer.

Is Tuition Assistance available? Yes, we offer several forms of Tuition Assistance to any family who meets the eligibility requirements set through FACTS. All monies distributed through school use these criteria. We are blessed to have tuition assistance funds through BLOCS, EITC, The Foundation for Catholic Education’s Tuition Reduction Grant, The Bishop’s Transfer Grant, The Saint Agnes Educational Endowment, Scrip and private donations.
