C.A.R.E.S. (EXTENDED DAY CARE PROGRAM)

St. Agnes School offers an extended day care program for children of working parents. This service is available from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM on the days school is in session. Complete coverage for early dismissal days due to inclement weather is also available.

The program includes snack time, supervised homework and recreation. Mrs. Nancy Anderson is the coordinator of the program and can be contacted at 610-696-4445 or 610-692-7296.

Library

The St. Agnes Library supports the curriculum of the school by meeting the educational needs of the students. The library contains about 7,000 volumes of books. It is fully automated and internet accessible. Grades K through 6 have 30 minute assigned library times. Junior High has flexible scheduling. Library policy requires students to replace lost or damaged books. Any book not returned or replaced by the end of a school year will result in loss of library privileges until the responsibility is resolved.

The library gratefully accepts donations through “Angel Program”. Forms can be obtained at the office or the website: www.geocities.com/saintagneswclibrary.

Music

Music Lessons are provided for a variety of instruments, culminating in recitals, band performances or participation in musical programs.

Students who are excused from class for music lessons or for rehearsals are responsible to make up any work which may be missed. In cases when students are excused from a class involving other than the homeroom teacher, all teachers affected by the absence should be informed.
