Grade 4

missing-Student ID-23Grade 4 – Sister Kathryn Teresa, IHM

Sister Kathryn grew up all over the place, but most of her memories are from Laurel, MD. After high school, she attended The Catholic University of America where she first encountered religious sisters. Over the next several years, she could not shake the feeling that God was calling her to something “more.” After teaching for four years, she realized she was called to be a sister. In August, Sister Kathryn professed her first vows. During the first three years of formation, she had to step away from teaching, so she is thrilled to be back in the classroom.  Saint Agnes is her first mission and she couldn’t be happier.

Sister Kathryn has a BA in Elementary Education from The Catholic University of America. She also holds a M.Ed. in Special Education from Providence College. Sister Kathryn has four years of experience teaching 5th and 6th grades in Massachusetts and Virginia.
